Shot blaster self-propelled 200mm/8

This Husqvarna 200mm / 8” walk-behind self-propelled shot blaster is perfect for small to medium-sized jobs. It is ideal for cleaning and preparing surfaces such as concrete and asphalt before the application of a new coating and can be used for preparing steel surfaces.

Shot blasting is best used where the surface is undulated, pitted, or has many cracks and divots that cannot be prepared by the conventional use of a concrete grinder due to the concrete grinder always working on the flatter parts of the surface. This process of shot blasting removes the surface impurities whilst delivering the ideal surface profile for excellent coating adhesion or to create a non-slip surface profile.

Shot blasting provides a dust free process with a fully encapsulated blast chamber where the steel shot is propelled at the surface then reused as the dust is separated from the shot by the suitable dust collector. The perfect shot blast path can be achieved with the correct drive speed on the variable control, correct amount of steel shot released in the chamber and adequate vacuum from a suitable dust collector.

This shot blaster features drive controls on the steering handle making the machine easy to operate and handle. This machine’s self-propelled operation enhances productivity and promotes a more even and consistent blast pattern and surface profile.
